ABOUT ME

I am a post-doc working on tropical dynamics in past, present and future climates, with a particular emphasis on Hadley Circulation and monsoons. I am currently involved in CLICCS A4 - African and Asian monsoon margins. In this project, I am investigating the impact of internal variability on monsoon dynamics. Previously, I have been working as post-doc in a JPI-Belmont Forum project, PaCMEDy - Paleoclimate Constraints on Monsoon Evolution and Dynamics, in which I investigated moisture budget changes in midHolocene and rcp8.5 global warming scenario. I completed my PhD in 2016 at University of Salento, Italy, under the supervision of Prof. Piero Lionello. My PhD project was mainly focused on Hadley Circulation changes from Last Glacial Maximum to global warming scenarios. I hold a summa cum laude MS at University of Naples "Parthenope" in Climate Science in 2012.
